MELfeed Video to be run from Echuca from 1st August!

Michael at the gateway to Echuca on the Northern Highway.

Michael Costello, along with his parents, will be making the move from South Blackburn in Melbourne to the Northern Victorian town of Echuca, on the Victorian/NSW Border.

The big move is to take place on Friday, 27th July.  Most of our packing is done, except for my office equipment.  To allow for the packing of this equipment, we have cancelled the transmission on Wednesday, 25th July.  Our last transmission from South Blackburn was Transmission 23 on Wednesday 18th July.  We will resume our service from Echuca on Wednesday 1st August.

MELfeed.video will continue after the move with its current branding, but some aspects of our new life in the country will be bound to creep in to our Web Streams!   Already, we have included Echuca on our “Weather Wall”, along with Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepparton.

While we will be based outside of Melbourne, we will be retaining our links with Northern Access TV (where I will become the Northern most member!) and METRO TV.  But we also aim to introduce some new programs and segments, with the possible help of local Echuca/Moama Community Radio station EMFM.  We will also be introducing “Inline Plus LIVE“, which we hope will see us live streaming Inline Hockey matches live from The Zone in Bendigo.   We have started talking to the relevant club, and hope to announce some trial streams later this year.  More details on this as they come to hand!
